Description (20PK) Mykonos 7mm Cube beads is a hand-formed, metalized ceramic bead. It has been fired in rough copper and plated with 99.9% fine silver. Made in Greece. A clay bead is formed and fired in a kiln. A coating of copper is applied to the clay base, then the bead is fired again. Last, a third layer of metal is applied, such as gold, silver or more copper , and then the beads are kiln fired for a final time. This fuses the metal to the bead, The beads have large holes suitable for stringing on cord and leather. I advise keeping them in plastic sealed bags until needed for use.
